Hitunes is not a finished album. It's a work in progress. they've said was finished in the past because thug has 1000 songs in the vault. Hitunes could most definitely exist amongst those. But it evolves with each tape thug decides to drop and each event that occurs in his career. Blb said (like weeks ago now lol so I don't know why this is being brought up now) that in reality Hitunes will be album done intimately in like a week long studio session with him Alex thug and London. It will be almost all new material...new as in record next year new. Some (very few) infamous snippets, like for Party Tonight, will appear on the album but everything else is unheard of from the vault (no snippets at all) or totally new recorded next year.
That's all. Hitunes isn't "scrapped" lmao. They never had a real Hitunes to began with, they had ideas and they had 5 trillion songs to chose from. Thug recently said there should be no features on an album and that it should be solely about the artist. But with people like Elton Kanye and Andre cosigning thug, how can there not be? Blb says he wants an album full of bangers not love songs. And that doesn't sound like Alex's version of the album. They aren't set on anything yet -- Cept that Hitunes counts. And that they'll make it count (and that Blb wants to do "a million first week" -- rofl)
