    in context it serves as a counterbalance to the utterly depressing "u"

    also I know this doesn't really make it a better song than any of the others necessarily, but the fact that it's played at rallies/marches etc makes it arguably the most impactful song of the year.

    oh I misread that then

    I feel that way about other TPAB songs but I feel like alright doesn't have that problem. The only ones I usually play by themselves are Wesleys theory, alright, king kunta, i, and TBTB.
