Dec 23, 2015 I realized something. I've made an observation which seems to be very linear. I'm not talking about casual or moderate Em fans who excersize constructive criticism. I'm not targeting you. It's almost always the same members. Whether it's literature, music or conversation , our intellect wants to be fed with conformable things. Things we can relate to. Our mind automatically caters to fulfilling our needs. Different people have different needs. This is common knowledge. Music is a great example of that. The less developed your curiosity or It just means, your mind caters to more superficial things because it doesn't have so much trouble ingesting it, it comes easier. It's like a sensory overload. There's too much going on to keep up with, that's why you could be turned off by some of these songs from Eminem. Obviously Mr.Mathers is not the only one. I see a lot of these members constantly label Kendrick Lamar or Cole as 'boring' or even 'whack'. Is it a coincidence ? Fat chance. Obviously you won't be able to appreciate some Em if you're a die hard Fetty Wap fan ( not a casual one) Remember back in school when some people would call others 'swops' or 'eager-beavers' in a despicable way ? ( Goat analogy in coming ). Exactly. It was because they couldn't do what you did : get good grades and be an achiever. So what do you do to cover up for your lack of ambition ? Hate. I just recently read a thread form somebody who was mad at Crooked I for his "bars". Like what the f--- ? He's a rapper, what's he gon' care about ? But everybody hasn't the same taste in music ? Right. But I still haven't seen fans of this section mess up the other artists' sections on a regular basis by saying how garbage those artists are. And this is the difference. Also a very common technique to deal with your insecurities if you're a member of the hate brigade, say this : Lmao, I only listen to REAL Hip Hop like *insert random rapper name* As if using hyperbolism boosts the insecurity behind your logic So is this all a coincidence ? I THINK NOT. It's wednesday and I'm already going in I just thought it was interesting how there are collective attributes the Hate Brigade brings to the table. Oh and by the wayy, don't come at me like "But I also listen to such and such, I do such and such". Of course you do. No rule without exception. It's just an interesting observation I made that seems to be pretty linear. Anyway, thoughts on this mof- ? I hope you have a very good week !
Dec 23, 2015 But Kendrick Lamar is actually whack .. and got outshined in Love Game. And Eminem is the GOAT hands down.
Dec 23, 2015 Considering he's one of the most well respected artists in rap and has released three critically acclaimed albums (the most recent of which is the unanimous AOTY across all genres)....
Dec 23, 2015 Lil wayne is also respected .. and dropped good albums at a point of his career and was considered number 1 at a time ... Kendrick doesnt give me chills and I dont feel his nusic is enthusiastic .. much like 2pac .. people listen to him cause they think he's the new Martin Luther King .. Id play him in car or in parties .. him and Drake .. any day in the week before Eminem .. actually Eminem is the worst rapper for producing catchy parties song .. but he's genius and GOAT and raw Mc who doesnt give a sgit about nuthin except his music
Dec 23, 2015 Back to the orginal point before you just used this as an opportunity to jerk Eminem off.... You said Kendrick is actually whack.
