Feb 15, 2016 Places Love Can Take You EP It's here: I wanted this song to be about the new in a relationship, sort of like, how it's just crazy and different, and also sort of scary... It's just an out of this world experience. This is meant to be about wanting to stay in those euphoric like moments, where you think you've found the best thing in your life and you don't ever want to let go of it, even if you should. This is where you end up when a relationship goes for far longer than it ever should've. You feel stuck, and your love can't grow anymore. You're in a love wasteland, and it's barren of new thoughts or emotions for each other. The relationship is dead. .... Feb 15, 2016 I really like the EP, I like the production. You did a good job! I wish to listen to the mastered version with vocals. Tundra with vocal was so good back then and now that you've mixed/mastered instrumental... and I still haven't heard vocal on Heaven.
Feb 15, 2016 Literally just finished this Dimension is a great opener to this project..I love the atmosphere and fits the tone perfectly. Heaven is a type of track I can see Young Thug featured on. It fits the melodic vibe he's custom'd to. Great production Tundra is my least favorite of the project; but I still enjoy it quite a bit. Maybe if it were a min or so shorter..but it's not bad whatsoever. My final verdict of this project is around an 8.5/10.. I would have liked to see this have at least 2 or 3 more tracks.. it's the only thing keeping it from being a high 9 or so. The quality of this kinda project needs to be longer..hopefully you will expand the length..and re-release it as a deluxe edition or something. Again, great work..can't wait for the next one.
Feb 15, 2016 Yeah, that's why the EP is like it is. I couldn't get the mixing right with the vocals anyways and didn't have a feature for one of the tracks recorded yet, but then I lost all the files for them and would've had to completely redo it all, so I scrapped the features.
Feb 15, 2016 Thanks man, but this was just meant to be a sort of one off thing before the next big project(s). I'm not sure i'll revisit it or not. I tend not to do that though once I put something out, just because by the time it's out, I've heard it 300+ times and I almost can't stand to hear it anymore, let alone to keep working on it. And actually, this originally had a 4th track on it called Hades, but it got cut for a couple reasons. Pretty sure I lost the one for Tundra that I had, tho there is a private one for Heaven on my SC still.
