Do you listen to his music? Do you understand his method of creating music? The man is a genius. Yes, sometimes his lyrics can be questionable but the way he can think of clever metaphors and wordplay that quickly is a huge sign of talent. I bet he could out-rap some of your favorite rappers if they had a battle. The way his brain works is remarkable, don't forget he is also very charismatic on the mic and has a unique voice and style.
And don't even get me started on his work ethic...

he makes a new kind of music that's different from anything made before. and if you think he isn't innovative, you can't argue he brought his kind of style into the mainstream.

I don't care if he's in your top 5 or whathever...that's ur opinion and I'm fine with it but I don't think hes innovative. But even if he was bringing a new style to the mainstream, that doesn't mean the music is good IMO

I respect your opinion though, you seem to be one of the very few cool young thug fans who don't insult people all the time.

You know, I've never really made this connection until now and am surprised to not see it made, but I see a lot of parallels in the vocals of Björk and Young Thug. @Narsh, do you agree?

this is plainly, objectively wrong. it's not a matter of taste. he's innovative, even if you want to argue his music is bad. you don't know what you're talking about.
