    HMMMMMMM Dizzee Rascal and Young Thug comparisons ITT really confusing me rn

    I honestly see no correlation between the two. Googling Young Thug Dizzee Rascal doesn't turn up any interview where Thug says he was influenced by Dizzee either

    the thug fans usually use the same logic as the eminem, kanye, kendrick or pac fans

    the only thing is... he isn't as critically acclaimed as these artists, and he'll never sell as many copies as them. But they'll always act like it's ok if they use this argument but the fans of the other artists just can't.... because it isn't fair for the little young thug

    citing critics is exactly what the young thug fans are doing though, ya'll just don't allow other people to do it :hard:


    Kanye fans are worst when they talk about him being innovative but its ok when its thug
    Kendrick fans are worst when they're citing critics but it's ok when its thug
    50 fans are worst when they say 50 was great because he was hot in the street but its ok when its thug
    eminem fans are worst when they say Em is good because hes popular but its ok when its thug
    Drake fans are worst when they say drake is good because hes all over the radio but when thug is all over urban radio, he's a goat

    Critical acclaim really doesn't matter since a lot of great albums don't have critical acclaim (Covert Coup, Pilot Talk series, Dirty Money, Athmosphere discog to name a few)

    I'm a 50 fan and i've never said that 50 was great because he was hot in the street lmao

    50 was great because he was REAL, what he rapped about was mostly true, his flow, melodies, delivery is amazing.
    Young Thug is nothing like 50, the gawdfather.

    whats remarkable about 50s flow on this? It's good, but its standard fair. You clearly have a preference for his voice/style etc, which is fine

    But Treasure had thug going at breakneck speeds, alternating his tempo at the drop of a hat, etc. but you dismissed it just because of his voice

    i honestly think you're interpretation of rap music is very shallow. at least thats what Im getting from this back and forth.
