Dec 29, 2015 it was released as a paid mixtape technically because that's not what they had planned for his debut album but they wanted to put it up for purchase. i guess you could kinda compare it to iyrt bc they are both technically mixtapes. Thug's true debut album "HyTunes" will be released in 2016.
Dec 29, 2015 in the broad sense of mixtape-album distinction being moot in this day and age, yeah. especially since its so well sequenced/incredibly cohesive. it was clearly meant to be an album. but a lot (and i mean a lot) of s--- irl happened during its rollout, including the 100+ leaks, which lead to it being a retail mixtape that didn't sell much. but i call it one of my favorite albums of the year while i call SS1 and SS2 mixtapes so but no, its not his debut if thats what u were wondering

Dec 29, 2015 Ugh, feel like I brought up fair points considering your responses in similar threads of the past when people talk bad about him. Nothing wrong with telling people to check out new music but it's like you need someone to answer a f---in survey any time they don't like him then even if they answer your questions you respond over and over and just don't let go. What Johnny said is right, everyone enjoys different music, pretty sure you'd hate 90% of what I listen to.
