Jan 5, 2016 so you missed the whole part of march madness where its about dealing with the marches this past year (as a result of the systemic racism thats been in the news more often -- you know, what kendrick talks about as well) while being removed from it because you're successful/famous?
Jan 5, 2016 you know the thug or future fans are worse than the eminem fans when they're implying you don't go out or you're a nerd if you don't listen to young thug and they wonder why people hate them
Jan 5, 2016 I probably party more than all of you, and I have yet to hear a thug's song that I like... and its exactly the same for all my black friends. We don't f--- with that in clubs and we don't listen to that s--- in the street.
Jan 5, 2016 whenever I ask someone if he likes the Future song they're playing, he says: "I only care about the beat, the guy rapping over it is wack though but it's a party so it's all fun, we really don't care if its good or not, we just want the song to b---"
Jan 5, 2016 U prolly live in North Wisconsin gtfo of here with ur wack a--- opinions, u dont know these streets, the closest uve came to a street n----- is watching beyond scared straight and seeing that 1 squeaky kid who was a f---ing fa----
Jan 5, 2016 also, here are a few flaws: -the heavy handed writing -the unnecessarily dense sequencing -the crutch of the poem -the actually pseudo-intellect of the poem to begin with -the disconnect between his presentation and his execution (he clearly wanted to make a "soulful" album but a majority of the time his rapping his anything but)
Jan 5, 2016 Article hit every point on each individual artist 100% right in my eyes......and as I see it now folks 2016 is Slim Jesus
Jan 5, 2016 That's what everybody tells me... like yeah, they do listen to future or young thug, but only because they're forced to hear the songs and they don't even like that s---
Jan 5, 2016 people did bump king kunta a good amount, back when the album first dropped. and i could barely tolerate it even back then
Jan 5, 2016 like, i said what thug have you heard because if you say "everything" (meaning youve heard tracks like guarantee, or OD, or the promise, or you the one) and think wha the said is true, you're lying out of your a---
Jan 5, 2016 disagree with everything, and I'm not saying that because all the critics agree with me, but thats how I feel as well. the writing is perfect to me, the sequencing is on point, the poem is important, and the execution was perfect. What you listed is basically the points that made me enjoy this album...
Jan 5, 2016 no, TPAB supporters are saying the opposite about thug and future (which isnt even just "club music" to begin with) and betraying their knowledge of/taste in hip hop yet again
Jan 5, 2016 im gonna continue: - The fact that he replayed the same skit in almost every break between tracks - The fact that his voice sounds terrible - The production isn't even good compared to most Jazz/funk inspired beats - He put more effort into making a concept instead of making it sonically pleasing - Has absolutley 0 replay value
Jan 5, 2016 No lol, thats exactly the opposite... the thug or future fans are actually trying to attack it because they're white and can't listen to it in the clubs
Jan 5, 2016 tbh I'm a musician, and I couldn't find a single flaw in tpab... the only one is probably when he was rapping off beat on the blacker the berry. thats it
