@Deadpool's DopeBoys show renewed my interest in this so re-releasing this because a) i wanted an excuse to post it again since then, but also b) a reason replace the s--- art I had on this with one I made awhile ago and retooled, and also also c) because I fixed a couple things (like Kanyes vocals being drowned out in part of the mix on the 2nd half of the song)... so enjoy fam

I wish he released more of his stems, especially acapellas. I don't know why he is keeping them all to himself. After all he is one of the artists who sample the most, he should know and understand how awesome it is to have a big community of people who like to work with your tracks and use them in their own creative way.

i really wish I could find stems for the rest of the album, or at least more parts to songs from it so I could actually do the 808s mix I wanted to do

something along the lines of the 2nd half of this @WirokS

apparently kanye released the stems for the entire track at one point, so I found a zip of the entire song broken down with all the different parts and I took it all in and reworked it, added effects (like distortion), made the 808s wobble a bit etc. and then built new sections like the drops

People seem to be so hyped about SWISH atm. that they don't want to hear anything but new Kanye Stuff. But I thought it was worth a try!

How did you do those 808 drums? Do you make them on your own, or do you have samples?
