but yeah man, thanks for the feedback. i felt the same way when i heard this back lmfao. I was legit like --- oh d---, i guess...i just have to try harder? shiiiiit.

my dads an incredible singer. has been his whole life. i havent been since my voice cracked in like 6th grade lmao. but i want to. i really do. didnt realize that as a kid or teen or even just like a year ago. but obviously ive recently wanted to, and settled for just off-key bs to try and make it work. im sure ill still be doing that most of the time lol but at least i know what i want to work on u dig?

wish your voice sounded a little more "mafioso" (not sure how else to describe it)

your voice actually sounds better on the sped up flow part of the song in the middle towards the end than it does with the slower delivery imo

the autotune but sounded nice on your voice btw, you know how to use autotune now?

But I literally can't unless I make a conscious effort. I'd rather just get better at mixing how I naturally sound like when I get hype (which is like one of the chipmunks I know )

And no, I'm still just throwing s--- at the wall and seeing what sticks as far as mixing those. This time I had to add that multi and compressor but also layer the vocals multiple times for it sound alright

thank you friend. i was scared of touching this b/c Kendrick made it his own beast for sure. and his version is the complete opposite of mine in terms of style. but i found a rhythm and just went with it

but word, usually when I do doubles (layer), I'll keep them real fair and maybe move them to one side of the ear and then do ad libs and have them on the other ear, it keeps the listener busy
