    according to Urban Dict "A term coined by Otaku and Weeaboo alike for their 2D significant others; predominantly anime and video game characters. A Waifu, in contrast to a harem, is the love between one man and his one and only Waifu. You treat your Waifu with the utmost respect and courtesy and most refuse to even fap to their beloved, seeing the act as an insult to the non-existent woman they have committed themselves to.

    A spin-off term "Husbando" followed for Fujioshi who feel similarly towards male characters."

    This buxom beauty has more brawn in her thighs than most men have in their entire bodies. She’s a true vision of feminist empowerment through kicks, she’s also prob the only worthy thing to come out from the SF series, aside from their stellar soundtrack.

    Nausicaa

    Miyazaki's best character (every other Miyazaki work is just a boring retelling of nausicaa with watered down themes) who is japan's interpretation of Jesus and the messiah archetype deeply dissected and subverted through a flawed female protaganist.

    Azula

    One of the few (only?) realistic and deeply believable female antagonists in fiction. She has a relatable goal, and even though she fails the bechdel test, she makes up for it by being able to kick her brother's a--- and deeply wounds the avatar. P.S. kuvira sucks.

    Jessica Jones

    Too many female characters make the mistake of trying to be empowering by shying away from their sexuality, this is when you get the fallacy that chicks with muscles, guns, and crewcuts make a good character (just look at zarya from overwatch). Jessica on the other hand is not afraid of her sexuality and rather embraces it, she is not bound by society's standards nor does she care to appease YOU the viewer, and that is a really fine trait in a woman. Show's delves in some deep themes too

    As I've said in the other thread, kitty is the essence of pure hip hop. She recontextualizes tacky old genres (miss you, Drink Tickets) into a new vision while retaining a throwback feel, yet is unashamed of their genre roots. She's perhaps the most interesting artist in the past year and I'm eagerly awaiting the AOTY for 2016.

    Take what I've said about Kitty & Jessica Jones, and that pretty much applies to this amazing artist. Her haters are her biggest motivaters.

    One of the most well developed characters in cartoons, her transition to a chaotic neutral is completely believable and doesn't reek of an asspull. She also happens to pull of the "jerk with a heart of gold" better than just about any character I've come across, and isn't hackneyed at all in that regard. She' also got a lot of style only outdone by

    Garnet

    A brilliant and subtle reference to Maggot Brain, Garnet is similar to the previous waifu in that she can be a bit of a hardass & rarely shows her soft side & kicks a ton of a--- to boot, but her poignant scenes with Steven don't at all feel saccharine and mawkish.

    Ruby Rose

    Starring in one of the finest internet web series since (Shortpacked), Ruby Rose is prob my favorite female character. She is this series answer to boring typical shounen protaganists like Goku, Luffy, Naruto, and Maka (Soul Eater), she takes all their best traits and discards the fluff and perfects the shounen protagonist than any anime series could hope to. Also despite being competent/adept/badass she’s still sort of awkward and I appreciate that the creators looked out for the underdog, true to the genre’s roots (unlike Naruto).

    idk, I might convert to mormonism, cause I'm gonna be a polygamist when I grow up. So i dont think my interpretation of that is rly wrong.
