Could be a happy cry or a sad cry.

I've done the happy cry from sports before but never from being sad. How about you?

Curious if this thread will get hate at all.

I cried when Sting (with the black and white face paint) showed up during WCW because I was like 4-5 and was scared of him.

I cried when the Eagles lost the superbowl back in 04. I was like 6-7, been a die hard my whole life. Other than that, I don't think I have. I've gotten chills a few time I guess you could say. Miracle @ The Meadowlands Pt 2 got me good. Still get chills watching this sometimes:

Plus, hearing it called by Merril Reese makes it 10x better

When the the Phillies won the World Series in 2008 and when Villanova went to the final four in 2009 (my grandfather died earlier that day and he was a huge Nova fan)

Ah yes, I didn't cry but was beyond upset when Harry Kalas died, making me sad just thinking about it now. I'll always remember watching that 2008 season with my grandfather, me and him were the only ones in the family that liked baseball so we watched over 100+ games together that season.

My favorite soccer/football team after 12 long years finally made it to the champions league final vs our cross-town rivals and we were pretty much on the verge of losing until this last minute heroic action happened. I got overwhelmed with emotion and celebrated like a fool

I don't think I've ever cried from sports until last year. I've had moments where frustration and anger took the forefront though.

Long story short the coach of the Adelaide Football Club, Phil Walsh, was murdered by his son.. The team didn't play against Geelong that week as the league decided to call it a draw and cancel the match.

So it would be two until the team got to go back onto the field and they had to travel to play away against West Coast. Emotions were running high for everyone around the league.

Throughout the game we were competitive but just couldn't hold it together. We got beaten fairly convincingly and at the end of the game both teams took a moment of silence in the middle of the ground to honour the late Phil Walsh.

I watched all of this unfold at home and I wept a tear or two from seeing this unfold.

@Ordinary Joel probably would've cried in anger with this one. :emoji_wink:

While I didn't cry at the time because I was surrounded by thousands of Crows supporters, watching this video always gets me emotional. I don't think I'll ever attend a sporting event as great as this one again. And it was a pretty significant game because it was the last Showdown (one of the most fierce rivalries in the country) at that stadium.

My poor mans look-a-like did alright in this game.

Would've been better if the team that made the great comeback actually won the game. :ohno:
