    I just don't understand why you choose to pick certain things to use as slights against Drake and ignore them vs other artists. I guess it's kind of a compliment that you hold him to such a high standard of integrity.

    @WPG hasn't flipped on GKMC...he WAS calling it a classic, or a near classic. The reversal is that he was saying the same thing about Take Care at the time, we all were

    This new meme that came out of 2015 that Drake is a biter without any original voice of his own is a bit baffling to me. People often cite WATTBA, but he doesn't sound like Future on that tape to me...he just sounds like Drake on a Future song. Similarly, what is If You're Reading This a blatant rip off of? I won't argue Drake is putting out earth-shattering, groundbreaking music. But I don't think he's being flagrantly derivative, or at least not far moreso than your average rap artist

    Why do we have to use the word "bite" to refer to Drake in general though?

    Like there have been specific instances where its been pretty obvious (Hotline Bling, DRAM), but most of the time he's just influenced by things/people like most artists.

    People talking about him biting migos are hilarious to me cause I haven't heard many artists who haven't used their flow.

    I don't see why this argument is such a Drake specific thing. Hov been riding waves his whole career and is considered the GOAT by many so I really don't see the problem.
