I hope Americans are smart people and will not buy his populist agenda. There are enough maniacal leaders in the world.

this type of polling is largely meaningless this far out. but your larger point--that the kind of gaffes that we all assumed would sink him not only aren't sinking him, but are helping his cause--is exactly right.

i'd still put my money on cruz, then rubio, then trump, in that order, but it could happen--at least the nomination.

I think conservatives will soon realize while they agree with Trump's ridiculous views that he's not a winning candidate. He'd get washed in a general election and if conservatives really do want a Republican back in the White House, they'll go with a more sensible candidate like Rubio.

The polls mean more and more everyday. That's what worries me. He should have busted by now.

After the debate last night, I think Cruz helped his cause. He did very well.. Still hoping that Rubio wins

this is an insane thing to say. because, look, we all have different political beliefs, so i'll set aside the fact that trump doesn't even bother disguising his racism. he hasn't offered anything in the way of substantive policy proposals. you'd be voting for his rhetoric.

i think hillary is still a much better candidate than bernie is.
eh. he looks in over his head, and you can't discount that. the only thing that, in my eyes, could get your uncle/dad/conservative cousin to vote for hillary is the thought of that guy on the button.

I think Rubio and Cruz have a better shot at winning the general. Trump seems to have a very niche group of supporters and may be hard to cross party lines... But who knows I could be completely wrong
