    Drake is incorporating the hotline bling "island vibes" with the huge dancehall/reggae/Caribbean sound into the ovo sound for Views. The reason why? Many think it's because he is really fleshing out and putting the island/Caribbean subculture of Toronto on the map (Baka Not Nice, using Popcaan in his radio shows, that one Caribbean commentator dude on his radio show.)

    But the real reason is simpler. Take Care, many admit, is a love album to Rihanna/coming to grips with their breakup. We all know Rih is that girl next door who got away for Drake. He still sings about her as recently as last year. I think Drake is trying to win her back by making music of her childhood/heritage. Rihanna is an islander, go listen to that Pon De Replay thing she did when she was relatively newer. Drake is trying to win her heart, not with emotional love ballads, but with poppy, dancehall trap s---.

    Btw I'm a huge Drake fan and I think Views is going to be awesome
