The half of the song he spends conveying how unsure and confused he is on his responsibilities in the current climate is really good tbh.ScarredDemon, lil uzi vert stan, Ordinary Joel and 6 others like this. -

"seems we're more concerned with being called racists than we actually are with racism."
macklemore preachin on this. say what you want about him as an artist, and ya don't even necessarily need to agree with his content here, but he crushed it on this one. lyrics very well thought out here, production on point, message delivered.ScarredDemon, ArthurDW, HMN and 4 others like this.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Not a great song, but thoughtful and creative at times imo. Especially when he acts out white fans praising him for One Love, while critiquing Black Lives Matter, etc.
There's a kind of pop-friendly despair in the verses. He can a little too broad/preachy, but this speaks some truth. Well-intentioned pop song, even if this is becoming his thing. Seriously, this song would be more powerful, and maybe better overall, if a sober-minded Eminem tackled it. Then again.......Ordinary Joel, threee, ArthurDW and 2 others like this. -
