Jan 28, 2016 For the Love of Money is one of my favs on the album. Don't know how Satisfiction made it on there tho
Jan 28, 2016 It wasn't a bad song, but even that didn't sound like a Dre song. I knew, and didn't want it to sound like 2001, but that song was pushing it. It's only one of my least favorites because almost everything else is so d--- dope.
Jan 28, 2016 Ya I know but there is a link to the Compton album to Spotify but you can't listen to the songs, I thought that they would give up the rights but idk. I hate this exclusive stuff. Pretty much why I completely forget about this album is because I have no way of listening to it.
Jan 28, 2016 The best way to insult someone is to give them money and be on one of the most anticipated records ever. BURN!!!!!
Jan 28, 2016 Got eeeeeem! Forreal tho people over analyze the f--- out of anything to do with em so it's expected. They act like he was on every song of 2001 when he was in his prime in terms of rap and chemistry with dre.
Feb 1, 2017 I think this is the same s--- as Proof & Eminem thing. They were always together but while Bizarre get the feature on MMLP, Proof never actually had a collabration with Eminem except some non popular unknown songs (2-3 songs at most). Same reasons are there for Dre & Em too. Eminem probably wanted to take another way after Relapse kinda flopped. It was highly critisized mainly because of the accents and 2nd biggest problem was the fact that he didn't talk much about himself, his life, things he has gone thru over the last few years, instead he played a role of a serial killer for the most of the album which was actually Dre inspired by claiming that people will want Slim Shady etc. Anyway, that's why Em decided to scrap the Relapse 2 and Started to work with different producers to come back for real this time. Recovery worked tho. It was very successful considering its' sales. U know the rest of the story. I feel like we're gonna see Dre's name more than we did with Em's last 2 projects in his next solo album.
Feb 1, 2017 Didn't read the thread (or not remembering) But compton s----s on everything marshall did after 8 mile. And overall Dre's discography >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> eminems
Feb 1, 2017 Prob. because they argued over something they didn't agree on like everyone does and now they are distant. Doesn't mean they wont make up in the long run..or Dre is just lazy after getting that 800 mill from Apple and doesn't give a s--- about Em no more?
Feb 1, 2017 I'm just really really curious why they stopped collaborating after Relapse. Are they saving everything for his last album? They don't f--- with each other anymore? They were one of the best pairs producer-rapper wise.
Feb 1, 2017 Maybe Dre wanted to have a new sound ? The Chronic was more written by Snoop 2001 was more written by Eminem Compton by Justus, anderson paak, king mez
Feb 1, 2017 I always assumed it was his realationship with 50 that impacted things, Em kept it cool on both sides instead of riding with Dre fully. Stories about Dre make him come off as al ' you are dead to me ' kinda guy.
Feb 1, 2017 I honestly don't think there's any rift between them. I bet they're just as close today as they were a decade ago. They probably don't talk on the regular though. h--- with my best friend, I only talk to him once every few months, at the most, to catch up. I live on 1 side of the country and he lives on the other. Doesn't mean we still aren't very close friends. Also, Eminem said after relapse he wanted to branch out and work with different producers. For a recluse and a guy firmly entrenched in his habits and routines, that's a big change. I don't think he imagined it would be this many years without releasing anything with Dre (other than Compton). Who knows, maybe over the last year or two Dre's been sending him beats. We really don't know anything that goes on. Either way, I agree with you. And I've said this numerous times. I really really want Em to release another album with Dre and the aftermath team, Bass brothers, and Resto. I want these pairings to comprise most of the album. Maybe a couple other producers sprinkled in for good measure. Who knows, maybe this has been happening. And maybe the output isn't that great. Unless someone with inside knowledge (@Koolo) knows for sure Em and Dre haven't worked together on anything, I will remain hopeful. I really want this to happen again.
