    Only thing I've gotten recently is a signed copy of High Off Life. All my vinyl are still in storage in Seattle, hoping to be able to drive when I visit my fam for the holidays so I can pick up stuff that's too big/heavy/fragile to be shipped.

    For years ive wanted to have a vinyl section but just never thought i would have space nor that it would look good in the places ive lived in but since i now got a house and a place where i think it could fit ive ordered a new vinyl player and some records too. Gonna see if i can go and buy some shelfs at ikea this weekend, will post once it is up.

    What kind of vinyl player do you guys use? I went the easy route and ordered the rega planar 1 after ive been used to using an old and simple one i got from a relative, "press-and-play" sorta teqhnique lol. also the cheap route, didnt know vinyl players could skyrocket that fast in prices depending on how technical you want to get and the sound ofcourse

    People say that some albums are superior on vinyl to their digital counterparts due to the difference in mastering techniques. Obviously there’s a higher data-stream but is there truth to this or is it mostly equipment based/placebo?

    I don’t want to invest until I know for a certain it’s worth it. I have a pretty good audio system setup & would love to add to the collection if justifiable.
