Rule #1: Always cop limited edition asap, even if you don't got money. Even if it's just a cheap marketing strategy to take your money. BUY IT. (At least that's what I do)

I bought a few from best buy like 7 years ago. The Blueprint, 36 Chambers, The Marshall Mathers Lp, The Chronic and some others I can't remember. I also have a crate full of old rock music from the 70s and 80s from my uncle but I never really got into listening to them bc when I'd use my record player it would skip. I found it to be more of a hassle trying to listen to it than it was just to use my computer or ipod.

That hassle is what people ITT usually love. There's nothing like gently dropping the needle and listen to the analog noise and dust crackles while it's slowly approaching the audio track. Everything from flipping the vinyl to the care you put into it, it's a hobby for sure

I love the sound I just didn't enjoy buying records that wouldn't play straight through. My grandmother had hundreds, probably thousands of vinyl about 10 or 15 years ago. She lost most of them to flooding from Hurricane Rita and Gustav though. She would always play them

Don't expect too much sonically from albums with digital masters, I mean they're nice to collect but they just sound like the original album w an eq boost to mids.

idk --- just seems like one of those albums thats meant to be listened to on a record w the bumps and vinyl noise not necessarily for better quality :wow2:

Matter of fact if anyone is really interested in the actual difference between analog & digitals recordings, here's a great read from back when people didn't give a f--- about formatting on wikipedia:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_analog_and_digital_recording

This cleared up a lot of misconceptions I had, for example I thought vinyl had the potential best sound quality when it's pretty much beneath CD lossless.

This was honestly really disappointing, they made it a gatefold which is p cool but then they just filled it w credits and nothing else of interest. The back has a disgusting exclusive tag and the typeface barely fits the album at all. If that wasn't enough, the red they used for the vinyl and the text isnt even close to the red on the album cover.. And to ruin the mood of everything else, the sleeves are white. Vinyl isn't even 180 gram, and it suffers slightly from flutter. Otherwise the pressing itself is really good.

I was hoping that the first ever physical copy of B6 would have some effort into it, and got really disappointed. If the black version is better I might cry.
