If you think the movement is racist, you don't understand the movement. "Black lives matter" isn't suggesting that "white lives DON'T matter". It's suggesting that the system treats black lives with less respect than white lives, and that needs to stop. It's a response to a perceived injustice towards blacks, not some sort of "black power" agenda. Opponents of the movement hear "Black lives matter only", but what they should be hearing is "Black lives matter also".

Changing the argument to "all lives matter" is such a bs bait-and-switch, because how could you possibly argue that all lives matter? No one argues that, of course they do - but that totally misses the point and distracts from the problem at hand

Where is BLM in the 2200+ cases (annually) of black homicide at the hands of other black people? Because let's face it, black people k--- more black people in one year, than police will in a decade. Where are BLM protests on this? Oh that's right, they're too busy blocking freeways, being a general nuisance, even blatantly making s--- up to protest ("KKK attacks at Mizzou", anyone? The "attacks" which triggered protest at a number of universities? The "attacks" which had made national headlines and gained worldwide attention? The "attacks" which had been proven and later admitted to have never actually happened, completely pulled from the protesters' whiney a----s?). All I get from this movement is "black lives only matter when being ended by white cops".

A lot of cacs being racists itt.

The reason it's a black lives matter movement is because of the disproportionate levels of violence against blacks and disregard for black life. The idea isn't exclusion, the idea is to be included in the "all lives matter."

Live life as a non-white, much less a black, and you'll know why they feel like it's "us vs. them"
