Best to release as much quality music as u can while you are in your prime. Eminem has a similar tactic & stans wait years to hear another s--- album. What if Wayne said back in 06 im not going to release much music no way he would have built up the buzz he had for Carter 3.

I disagree... dropping solo material every 2 years (maybe 3) was the norm back in the days.

I literally don't want my favorite artists to drop new music every year, it's mad annoying tbh.
