Feb 2, 2016 Ignoring all the doubts for this album, as we hardly have any idea what it will sounds like / who make the final track list. Were people worried when Kanye announced he was releasing an album full of nothing but singing and autotune? yes. Were people worried when MBDTF had several different tracklists leak? Or when they found out most of the songs that made the cut had already been released in some form? Yup. Were people worried when Kanye announced he was releasing an album called Yeezus? And that it was still being recorded and reworked up to the point of release. You bet. So I'm really not worried until I hear the final product. All of this is all part of the experience of the album's roll out and I've only enjoyed it.

Feb 3, 2016 I'm starting to think he's allowing all this uncertainty to happen. I think it's all part of a plan. This is the first time I've actively followed the hype around a Kanye album and I'm starting to think everything has been intentional.

Feb 3, 2016 i agree with everything this article is attempting to say, but also back it up with the fact that ye's been really really stroking his own ego pre-anybody-listening, he's changed the album title several times now (indicative of him struggling to find his sound), and his focuses are elsewhere rn (fashion, family, looking in the mirror, etc.)...ye would love to step away from the game for a while and do fashion full time, but he can't because he's been struggling with fashion -- a big reason for him putting out music right now is to remain in the public eye and to keep his name up. i think people are gonna be quick to praise his album just because it's kanye, and whatever kanye puts out has to be goat...but once that wears off, people gonna be feuding determining just how low on the discography list waves is gonna fit.

Feb 3, 2016 Good piece but such a clickbaity title that doesn't even fit with what the author is arguing. Real Frienda is great, NMPILA is great, but so far FADE is the only song that gave me the same feeling that hearing New Slaves or Stronger or Jesus Walks or Runaway for the first time did. And we haven't even heard the full CDQ version.
