Feb 5, 2016 Hey guys I just dropped my first music video, I'm presonally VERY proud of myself regardless of if it's not the best video. I tried my best and I hope I can improve on my directing and editing skills. I'm already set to direct other people's music videos soon so I'm very happy. This is my song BTW, I'm the black guy. This video was done in the spur of the moment without any real planning so this isn't me actually directing yet. Thanks in advance to ANYone who checks this out!
Feb 6, 2016 I like the flow and the beat is dope. Only thing I can critique is the lyrics. Sometimes the lyrics are really simple and you can tell what's coming next. Gotta switch it up some man. Good work regardless though.
Feb 7, 2016 Definitely appreciate the feedback, it was sort of a quick song done in the moment. I have a lot of lyrical content on the way, so hopefully people can feel my future songs a bit more.
Feb 7, 2016 I liked the track, the nicr beat and your flow. Regarding feedback - like you already said - the visuals can be improved. Did you mix/master this track or someone else? I feel like your voice being a little bit louder and clearer audio-wise would additionally improve the overall track. Anyway, nice s---. Make sure to post it when sth new drops fam
Feb 7, 2016 I mixed it myself, I hear you on the audio quality. I'm trying to get better at mixing for sure, so hopefully by the time my project drops it'll be 100 percent. Plus the mic I used wasn't amazing or anything, I'm getting a new mic soon so that will also help my quality. And I'll definitely post here when some new material drops fam!
