I've spent 15 years building infrastructure in the Last Frontier. I can't remember the last time I posted a meme... maybe on rapbasement? I guess that's just your boilerplate answer to any non-Republican that doesn't hoorah for that cesspool of a party.

Your ignorance of union business is obvious... and I know I have done more as a Laborers Training Center employee recruiting vets for the Helmets to Hard Hat program then you ever did for anybody but yourself.

I can have discussions with Swizz and WPG although we completely disagree on almost everything. I don't support unions at all, but I support your program although I'm sure I have done a lot more for others than you would imagine. Props to you for that but I still think you're a douche.

As far as Trump goes... he's a lifelong Democrat born with a Silverspoon jammed into his mouth from his father Fred who was worth $400,000,000 and developed a couple of boroughs of New York City before the Donald came along.
He's had 4 major bankruptcies, open affairs with mistresses, was pro-choice for over 50 years, at one time championed a massive tax on the wealthy that would have completely pay off our national debt (something Bernie Sanders a "socialist" would never even dare to suggest to do), close friend of the Clinton's, bashed President Reagan for being an empty suit and called George W. Bush the worst ever President.

You wouldn't think he would be leading the GOP... but he is a bigoted a------ and a reality star so, he is winning by a landslide.

I sincerely hope he wins the nomination, completely destroys the GOP and the Conservative Entertainment Complex and ruins his own brand... which I first started stating he would last July and so far is on track to do just that.

Never say never. Sanders is too left for some, while Trump and Cruz are too right for others. Bloomberg is in the centre, so he wouldn't be considered extreme. But yeah he'd definitely have to campaign hard if he's serious about this. He does have the money to spend...

College isn't for everyone. How could you possibly think it is? Look at the drop out rate for people who already have the "opportunity" to go to college.

And yes, unions are s--- for the most part. More expensive for sub-par work, I would rather go with non-Union, thanks. Unions are becoming increasingly irrelevant. Uber and Airbnb are evidence of that, but apparently for believing that, I'm an a------. Just ask Hillary what she thinks of those two companies. You make perfect sense.

Yeah he definitely has the finances but from what I've seen he plans on running as an independent. For his run to be successful he would have to have some crossover appeal from the two major party's, and I don't see many Republicans voting for him based off of his gun control stance alone. To be honest I believe him running as an independent would actually help the Republicans by pulling votes from the Democrats, but who knows I could be wrong.

I can tell you listen to the Adam Carolla Podcast.

You don't know what union members do... I actually am in 3 different unions and work non union as well. The most skilled workers are union. It's a universal truth... the union has better training, an apprenticeship and bigger scale work.

Uber doesn't really have anything to do with unions seeing how Washington DC has been the only American city with unionized Cab drivers in the last couple of decades.

Yeah he'd run as an independent. I know people from both sides of the spectrum who believe Sanders, Cruz and Trump are too extreme for their liking, and I think Bloomberg would be most appealing to those people.

Again, he'd only run if Bernie defeats Hillary, and if either Trump or Cruz win the Republican nomination.

I have never listened to him before, but sounds like he might be a great guy.

I disagree about the fact that union workers are the most skilled universally. Maybe in a place like Alaska where the job market is different, but not in large urban markets.

I've worked in Washington State, Nevada and Hawaii as well... union members are the most skilled.

You don't know what you are talking about. You thought taxi drivers were union members... most of them aren't... except for the ones in DC, who are Teamsters, who the majority have CDL-As and other certs that make them vastly more skilled then non-union cabbies.

Union workers may get better training, but that doesn't make them the best. They are by far lazier workers than non-union and often their work is sloppy because even if they do an awful they know the union will protect them.

Completely untrue. Especially for trade unions.

I still disagree, I have bid contractors for large projects and that is not what I observed.

There are cab unions and they are constituents of Hillary Clinton. What more do you want? Most of them aren't unionized but still try to push regulation against Uber, like a union would. Smh.

Edit: I will add that skill requirements for being a cab driver are pretty f---ing low.

Every member of the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Steelers and the Pirates are in a players labor union.
The negotiate their benefits and league minimums and protect their player's reputations and earning potentials.

Do you think you can find some non-union players that are better at their job than them?

You think the player unions are going to drive those teams out of business?

Most of you anti-union kids have only heard about public sector unions 2nd hand. The fact is trade union halls are just huge bullpens of skilled workers. So when there is a big building project goes union, there is a higher chance of non-performing workers to be fired because their replacements are down at the hall ready to work and fully trained and don't need to apply for the job or be interviewed.

This is all bs... and like I said union taxi drivers in America disappeared decades before Uber came around. Washington DC has Teamster cab drivers... it's the only city that has union taxis.

Scab taxi companies are who is fighting uber... they are not organized.

Union workers are usually better workers just by virtue of them being smarter and being able to find the best way to be compensated for their trade. People with self worth put out a better product.
