    I loved s80, even though gkmc is my favorite album, s80 is my most played. I will definitely be in for a s80 2. Maybe mix of gkmc / tpab vibe?

    A petition isn't needed lmao, Kendrick definitely won't take the commercial route. Everybody thought he was gonna be a sell-out after gkmc came out and cater to the radio, but he straight dropped an album complete with BrainFeeder instrumentation and dropped something for the day 1 fans, not those who jumped on the bandwagon when he signed to aftermath.

    Honestly even if he didn't compromise too much on gkmc, the album is still the most commercial thing we'll ever get from kendrick. I can see him promoting his next album by dropping some songs for the radio that probably won't be in the final project bu thats it, really

    the ktt petition? lol they gave up on this as soon as we heard about kendrick working with Herbie Hancock.

    He's definitely working with the right people :haa:


    Herbie, george clinton, flying lotus, thundercat, bilal, soundwave, terrace martin, thats all he needs.

    Word. a follow-up to either TPAB or sxn 80 (but with a different kind of jazz, maybe electronic jazz/funk?) with a different subject matter would be goat and then let him experiment on his 5th album.

    I can see him dropping another album like gkmc latter in his career, but only if he's worried about his sales

    tpab may be my favorite but like I've always said, I feel like sxn80 could have been his magnum opus for me if it wasn't a low budget album. Imagine the same type of album but with kamasi washington & thundercat working on it...

    It depends...either Wesley Theory or ab soul outro type of beats, or something totally different. Herbie developped so many styles that it's hard to tell

    It could be like section 80 on steroids

    now that I think about it...

    Kdot definitely has the right people around him to make a jazzy/funky record, but I remember an interview of Warren G from last year... he said Kendrick asked him for a few bangers and it makes me think that kendrick also has all the right people around him for a G-Funk record. Think about it, he has soundwave, Thundercat on the bass, George Clinton, Dr Dre, Snoop, Warren G, Dj Quik, Sly to replace Nate Dogg, Jay Rock,...

    Yeah I mean he'll obviously still use the sound somewhat, but I don't expect his next album to sound super similar to TPAB. Kendrick doesn't like being predictable.

    i was listening to an old kendrick verse where he said "Kunta Kinte", which obviously is the character he was talking about in King Kunta
