Feb 17, 2016 No hard feelings either way. In the context of the album I think Frank as the outro works great. The beat slows down towards the end of Real Friends, you hear the background vocals, the song ends and they pick up again on Wolves. Great verse by Ye to immediately set the tone. He had the right idea when he transitions into the 2nd, just executed awfully. Slows down again and Frank sings a lullaby to close out a chaotic album.
Feb 17, 2016 lmao but yeah like i said. i dont love kanyes verse but the song definitely feels more special on the album. the way it starts to the ending of his verse to frank's outro.
Feb 17, 2016 OG growing on me especially when you listen to it after Real Friends. Still needs work though, hopefully he takes a bit from each for the final version.
Feb 17, 2016 I agree with @Mikey Album version ALL day for me. It might have to do with the fact that I didn't listen to any version of the song until the TLOP. I love it. I think it's darker than the OG and I don't Sia and the other guy seem out of place. Oh well lol.
Feb 17, 2016 OG But I'm so glad he added a verse. I thought that was missing from Wolves the whole time. I'm not a fan of Kanye's singing.
Feb 17, 2016 Og version + verse (a good verse, not the album s-----y one) would be absolutely perfect
Feb 17, 2016 Yeah my 1st listen was the album as well. I thought Vic was good but I don't like how he lightens up the tone. Both versions have their flaws, but there's a 10/10 song here somewhere.
