    "Anonymous" is the most succinct description I've ever seen to describe exactly what's wrong with someone's writing. s---.

    Right now I feel about Pablo the same way I felt about Yeezus when it came out: "at least" better than Graduation. With Yeezus, I was pretty sure I was going to rank it higher once I'd learned how to listen to it. Within days, I'd put it on and couldn't turn it off. Before I knew it, Bound 2 was up and the album was over for the second time. This one? I don't know yet, but I don't feel pulled to it the same way I did with Yeezus. A week into an album being (semi) out, that's not a good sign.

    the tracks 1 to 13 run on this is better than the tracks 1 to 21 run in LR, i have absolutely no doubts about that.

    i have no idea if this is better than CD, yeezus, or 808s. the only one it's 1100% without a shadow of a doubt not better than is MBDTF

    Interesting read. Starting to pick up on your writing style which is cool.

    Way too early for me to rank it. I'll say I like it more than I liked Yeezus after a week, but Yeezus really clicked with me as a whole months later and eventually became a top tier Ye album to me

    I'll give you Waves, because as good as it is, it doesn't really fit.
    Lowlights is a skit/intro, not a song, but I'll give you that one.

    Highlights and Famous are incredible, the latter being the best song on the album, maybe.

    and low lights is just an interlude?

    and highlights is a mess, but whats wrong with his flow? especially in the 2nd half with like the "walkin livin breath god you know my life well" or whatever part

    Lyrically, it's pretty awful (not just the Taylor line)
    Flow-wise, it's mediocre
    Rihanna's hook is awful, shoulda just had the Nina Simone sample throughout
    Swizz Beats is f---ing awful
    The ending is great up until Swizz decides he wants to be the center of attention

    the thing with Yeezus is, even now, 3 years later, when I know every millisecond of the album by heart, it's not difficult to see why it was a tough nut to crack. It wasn't accessible and it didn't want to be accessible. It was like nothing he'd ever released before. So it's no surprise it went up in most people's rankings as time went on. Pablo...well...it could certainly climb in our ratings, we don't know how it will wear. But I don't think there's as much to "get" about these songs as there was with the Yeezus songs. There's not a whole new style he's using on this album that will take time to digest. Like, it didn't take a whole bunch of listens to wrap my head around Feedback or Waves.
