    It's crazy how different this is from any of his Recovery verses - no one else in rap continually evolves, for better or worse, as often and relentlessly as Marsh.

    Contrast SSLP, TES, Recovery and this - could be 4 different artists. Just another reason why I believe he's the GOAT.

    Probably my second favorite song on ShadyXV.
    This song kinda has the Relapse feeling. Kind of like 3am with the only difference that it's actually listenable. Flow and delivery are on point as well.

    One of Em's great abilities is his vocal projection and how he's able to set a certain mood and make it authentic, no matter if it's uplifting, nostalgic or whatever the f--- he's talking about.

    On this one, he's adding some type of cold-blooded vibe to his voice while removing any other influences that could ruin the vibe. Pretty genius.

    Favorite lines

    But being brought up so wrought up inspired
    But I don't know why but it's still like I'm caught up in a whirlpool
    Not an appliance but applyin this science, I psychotically rhyme.

    That being said, If I had to decide between concepts, I'd still go with Guts over fear. But I don't think we have to decide anyway due to his versatility.

    Also, If I'm not mistaken Boi-1da made the beat. He rarely disapoints.

    Exactly don't know what he was thinking with them two singles, and that's why I feel he should've waited another year or two after he got sober. He started too fast. Also the fact that he didn't put an album out in almost 5 years. The album should've been about him being gone, almost dying, proof, and a lot more personal stuff. Not killers, and accents

    if em could have flowed correctly on this, it would have been great. i thought from the hearing "the thought of retiring", it sounded like he was going to go in with a nice flow until the lines after came and hes all over the place, as usual.
