Feb 23, 2016 Whenever an album comes out, people tend to have extreme reactions. It's a good album. It's not trash. It's nowhere near a classic. But it's good. The problem with this whole Kanye thing is it's sort of like Tarantino. You have a creative guy, with a strong line-up of works and a signature style. But at some point you end up with people being so caught up in "the Tarantino feeling" and the "the Kanye feeling" that the work isn't properly evaluated. It's like a religious cult so focused on the messenger, that they completely forgot the message. It looks like Kanye got so wrapped up in the idea of being a genius that he forgot some of the elements which brought him his acclaim in the first place.
