Feb 25, 2016 This is my very first Trap beat. Started out pretty basic, but as I was adding more and more to it, I added my own signature sound into the mix, like the piano and a bunch of other stuff. I really like the way it turned out. The concept and the sound are pretty dope imo. I rarely like my own work, but this is pretty good, got me pretty hyped and inspired to do more. The beat itself is divided into two segments and switches up halfway through because I basically made two beats at first and then combined them together and just made a longer track. BPM is 160.00/80.00 and the key is in #D minor. Bandcamp link: @CreativeSXN
Feb 27, 2016 It's a nice beat. Way better than what I can produce for sure. The piano sounds are probably the weakest link. Maybe you can put a sound effect on the piano recording to give it an edge of some sort. Also, I'd add like a bass guitar to the beat as well. And a little filth to it.
Mar 4, 2016 Decided to make an EP based on this track since I've produced more beats during this session. "High Seas EP" with about 5 beats, gonna drop it in either late May or early June.
Apr 1, 2016 Turns out I had an skeleton version of Dead Water saved on my drive from before I started mastering the drums and the bassline. So I played around with it just now and made an acoustic version of the song + a whole new line of chords in the outro (at the 2:30 mark) I actually improvised it on the spot ( in one take only without a MIDI Controller). @CreativeSXN
