Mar 1, 2016 in GKMC, these guys wanna get revenge and k--- the other blokes but an old preaching lady stops them and they let god in and just magically not wanna k--- the other guys. i mean i love GKMC just as much as the next person but i just dont think this would happen in reality along with the religious views in TPAB, i have to ask the question do you agree with the religious themes that run through kendricks albums??
Mar 1, 2016 I'm not into religion at all, but I never listen to an album because I relate to it, I listen to it if I respect it so yeah, it doesn't matter if I agree or not
Mar 1, 2016 all the kendrick fans I know I actually +30 and very smart people, probably the smartest people I have talked with
Mar 1, 2016 yes I agree. I went to Compton a few times and they're all about god. They all believe in a higher entity who can fix things
Mar 1, 2016 yeah and on how much a dollar cost earning your spot in heaven and s--- i dont agree with it but i definately respect him for believeing it
Mar 1, 2016 True, you have to consider the fact that It’s hard out here in compton & in Africa. So hard that that many artists find themselves turning to religion and some even trying to spread the gospel themselves. It could also be a fiction you know (just like Sherane isn't a real name) but its kendrick's way to spread the good word.
Mar 1, 2016 Not really but thats mainly because I don't believe in god... but I have no right to judge someone who believes in him
Mar 1, 2016 Its nothing that deep, I don't see why this couldn't happen. I mean parts were probably left out from the story, In GKMC Kendrick said his friend died. Kendrick probably got tired of the negativity and turned to religion. I think its cool, religion is obviously important to him. Hes just being true to himself.
Mar 1, 2016 oh id just like to say i'm not ridiculing him or asking why he does it i'm just literally saying if you're an atheist how do you deal with the religion in his albums
Mar 1, 2016 yeah i just see it as its not my experiances i believe he believes in god and thats all that really matters i guess
