    Is it ever possible to change the ignore feature so it actually completely ignores someone?

    Right now all it does is not show that person's posts in a thread but you still see that annoying 'show ignored content' on the bottom of each page they're in and you still see them on latest posts too. There should be a way to turn that 'show ignored content' thing off too if you choose to.

    This would make my s80 experience so much more enjoyable, please consider it.

    i've always thought ignore was useless because of "show content" but ignoring people is gay so who cares

    @Final I'd mostly agree but Narsh is far too annoying to me, I enjoy s80 much more without him and he's impossible to avoid.

    Sounds like it's a no though, ugh..

    @Slyk We could hide the "Show ignored content" thing with CSS probably, what do you think? If people really want to see the ignored content they can go unignore someone.

    Unfortunately we don't have control over the latest posts/ignored users I don't think

    yeah, i just don't want to do that. the thread could be going nuts over what someone said, and the curiosity may bring people to actually want to see what it was... rather than having to go back into their settings, un-ignore the person, go back to the thread, read it, then back into settings to re-ignore,...i think it makes sense for that feature (it actually is a feature -- i wasn't making light of that in my last post) to exist.

    Maybe it wouldn't bother those guys if the 'Show more content' was moved into 'More settings' section at the top of the thread?
    It'd be less visible and still very easy to access.

    naw that would be specific thread permissions. we can ban people from threads, but nothing automated like that... and i don't really want to curb discussion that way.

    Would you guys consider bringing back the 'X vs Y' section? I think it brought a good level of music discussion to the forum, particularly during periods of time when there weren't any major musical releases coming out.

    I know that some of the discussions could become repetitive or predictable but I think that section created a lot of discussion and encouraged a lot of involvement and activity when it existed.

    Maybe something to consider at least...
