I was kind of tired when I listened to this last night. After hearing it this morning, untitled 5 is probably my favorite. Love the instrumentation and good to hear Punch too.

I'm going to go with yes, I'd count it as an official album that he's released. I mean, they did refer to it as an album so that's what it is. At the same time though, knowing that many of these tracks are TPAB leftovers, I do think people are going to be lenient with it. Even though this album isn't on the same level as S.80, GKMC, TPAB, I don't think he'll get much criticism for that.

no. it's definitely a quality project, but in no way do i consider it a studio album. it's more along the lines of atmosphere's "sad clown bad season" series. just a side-project.

This Untitled Unmastered project is like an appetizer. You came here for the main meal, but you also appreciate the appetizer for what it is because it builds up to the main meal. And also, if the food ain't ready, the appetizer keeps you full until the main course arrives.

Maybe not an album, but it's certainly a compilation of previously unreleased musicc with thought put into the sequencing. Kind of splitting hairs at that point.

i'm not comparing the two, i'm just saying that ten years from now, people will consider gkmc and TPAB his first two albums. section 80 is--whatever you wanna call it--a mixtape, a street album, whatever.

I was surprised to find out this is considered as an album, even on wikipedia. It's not an album, nor a mixtape in my opinion, so I guess it's best defined a "project". Music related.... man, kendrick's done it again... will be interesting to see if any of these will end up as singles.
