    Alright, I am definitely going to have to see about listening to Kanye's entire discography now. I was seriously under the impression that Kanye was going to be like so many other great rappers and artists in general that were amazing but overstayed their welcome and are now s--- because of it. I'm guessing he isn't though.

    Kanye doesn't use it to mask lack of talent, he knows hes not a singer, he uses it to amplify his voice and enhance the emotion imo and create melodies. It's his most personal and self conscious album, he recorded it after his mum died if that helps give you some context

    Why would that matter? He used autotune to great effect on 808's, his next 2 albums after that are completely different

    Well, the album is over. I'd give it a 9/10. Some tracks were just amazing, like Diamonds, Heard Em Say, Hey Mama, Gold Digger, and Touch The Sky. There were a few tracks I wasn't feeling too much though, but nonetheless this is still another classic Kanye album and one of hip hop's finest.

    I can relate to this song... people are always going to bring you down and want to see you fail. I know a few people like this on this forum, so I'm definitely enjoying the message.
    I liked the rhyme scheme at the beginning of the first verse, and I'm loving the hook!

    Since you all enjoyed seeing me listen to The College Dropout and since I enjoyed the album myself too, I've decided to give this album a listen as well. Here's what I am hoping this album will fulfill:
    Amazing production
    Conscious and political lyrics
    A smooth flow from Kanye
    The last album did all of these things smoothly, so I'm hoping that this one will do the same.
