I don't hate this project. I've gotten irritated in the past when people have called this album better then it actually is, but its got some great tracks.

    Bad Guy (2nd Half)
    Rhyme Or Reason
    Brainless
    Evil Twin
    Beautiful Pain
    Groundhog's Day

    ^^^ Awesome tracks.

I think the #1 problem with this album is that with being called MMLP2, it needed to have a bit more of the extreme side of Em, rather then the Recovery side of Em. Also not only was MMLP funny, it was smart too. Here...there's some smart lines, but they get bogged down by cheesy punchlines (flying pigs ring a bell?). And the majority of the production sounded like Hopsin-tier production, if Em wanted to make a modern MMLP, he should've took advantage of having every producer in the game at his whim rather then using Alex Da Kid and using DJ Khalil's talents for the wrong thing.

(i dont blame him more than em tho, he never should ve used this hot flowing s--- of a beat)

It was that good for me on first listen to be fair. I mean... Rap god, brainless, etc. s--- bumps imo

Its a good/solid album, i just wish the release wasnt basically forced to coinside with ghosts, imagine if more time was taken with this project, dont front wouldve been on the deluxe cd. N thats only if it gets pushed maybe > 2 weeks. Id rather have waited for a better more focused lp vs the sonically scattered joint we got 11.5.13

Multiple problems. I don't think the title is one of them.

MMLP2 should have been one of two things: 1) An earnest attempt to recreate the sound and energy of the original. 2) Something entirely different that reflects similar themes but at a different time.

What we got landed somewhere in the middle. It lacked the teeth and wit that made the first a classic, but it also failed to give us anything insightful about current day Eminem.

Then there are present day Shady Records problems. s-----y single formula, uneven production etc etc
