Mar 10, 2016 this is true, but we're talking about how people attack others over it. if it was as simple as that, people would just agree to disagree and let it go but they don't
Mar 10, 2016 If you actually care if other people think your music taste is good that is your own problem tho. I don't give a s--- if people think I have good taste and I'm not ashamed of anything I listen to tbh. (Of course I would make exceptions for people who claim some terrible songs are amazing lol)
Mar 10, 2016 i have no shame i listen to what i want and that's that. sure, it's disappointing when people don't enjoy what i do, or even hate it and think it's terrible, but it's w.e, i still like it and that's all that matters
Mar 10, 2016 dude "a lot of people agreeing" means nothing. half of them are the same people who say the same thing every year at every given opportunity. people who actually play close attention to the genre as a whole arent the ones complaining -- they're the ones realizing that there's more variety and experimentation in hip hop right now than ever before. ill let u guys circle jerk about "trap" being overplayed tho lol
Mar 10, 2016 One is real and is bringing the world together against bigotry and ignorance, the other wasn't and didn't
Mar 10, 2016 And politics etc etc. People attach their ego to these things even when faced with new information.
Mar 10, 2016 I can be friends with someone with different music taste but someone that is on the complete other end I can't
Mar 10, 2016 i can usually find some middle ground with most people, and that's generally enough music wise, but I'd like more. i've yet to actually know anyone who shares my love for electronic music at all, and it's hella disappointing. usually have to settle for someone who likes two or three of the same artists i do, but never my faves
