Mar 13, 2016 its great but not as good as his 3 previous projects, they're all more precise, fleshed out and better executed (not to mention that s80 is better lyrically, gkmc is more well put together and tpab is better musically which confirms that the better material made the cut). I could see why some people would say its their favorite kendrick project as some of the songs may be car friendly (or more whip appeal), but realistically, its behind s80/gkmc/tpab and there's nothing wrong with that. Like I said, I think its still great.

Mar 13, 2016 For what it is (a set of demos), its pretty f---ing incredible. It's always really cool getting an insight into how an artist creates, and that's what untitled unmastered does, gives you a look at the creative process of how TPAB came together.

Mar 13, 2016 Kendrick was great on this, but what makes this album really amazing is that the whole project is a room full of great musicians making music. UU sounds like a real fusion of hip hop and jazz done perfectly. half of this ep is terrace martin, thundercat, robert glasper, kamasi washington, flylo etc jamming out and reinterpreting beats I know these are supposed to be throwaways that didn't make it on tpab but for some reasons, this sounds like a blend of the old section 80 and gkmc kendrick sound to me.
Mar 13, 2016 After a week it's still the only thing I enjoy listening to currently....it even brings back the excitement of listening to TPAB for the first time. I'm just curious as to the other songs he has tucked away. Personally, It's hard to put them in any type order.... One thing I enjoy the most is his authenticity of being himself. And hearing his music they way he hears it.
Mar 13, 2016 I still enjoy the project, though i'd say GKMC, S80, & TPAB all beat it out, but nonetheless, it's a dope project, a very personal, very interesting listen. 2 & 7 are still my faves, oooooh the replay value those have.

Mar 13, 2016 Amazing project. Idk how people can dislike U1. It's my favourite, my least favourite is U4. U7 is good until about the last 3 to 3 1/2 minutes, I don't particularly care about that part of the song. Excellent tracks regardless.
