    I say wayne was a better rapper on carter 2, and the production is better imo, but his music was more addictive on carter 3.

    I'm going with carter 2 though cuz thats one of my most played albums of all time.

    Carter 3 edges out Carter 2 for me. It felt like, not only the most refined Wayne project, but the most refined Wayne. C3 was his magnum opus, i'd argue.

    even tho C2 one of the only albums i've ever bought, i'd take C3 over it pretty much any day. aside from like 1 or 2 tracks, i can't really get into what's on C2 and overall C3 probably my favorite Wayne album.

    It's a lot closer than I once thought. I used to think that C2 was miles ahead of C3 - but C3 turned out to be a real grower.

    I'd probably still give C2 the slight edge: but it is only very slight.

    I made a similar thread a while ago
    I prefer Tha Carter II. Every song on that project is dope af, whereas Carter 3 had some tracks near the end that I couldn't help but skip after less than a minute.
