He was actually pretty good from the movie standpoint. Admittedly im not too familiar with lex in the comics to know the accuracy of the portrayal.

I keep hearing conflicting things on this. Idc how the comic lex is, his casting intrigued me and I think it could be neat, but I don't know if I'll like any of it at this point

Saw it yesterday and I think Lex casting was fine. The problem for me was, that the movie was all over the place without any coherence. They tried to cram too many different things/moments into one movie to the point it felt random. Sloppy in that regard but I guess visually nice.

Also the way they handled some moments was very questionable logic wise.. esp. the Martha thing.

Not terrible, not good, just ok... (which is verly low regarding the dark knight triology standards etc... )

The martha thing is so f---ing stupid, Superman isnt characterised at all and you cant feel for a one dimensional robot. he has no reason to hate Batman and batman is stupid and ignorant af

Saw it yesterday night, i liked it but still i don't get many plot twist

And the martha thing made me laugh a lot during the film, the entire crowd was silent and i was laughing a lot
Come on bat, he said a f---ing name and you became a f---ing p----?
And i also don't get the superman hate by lex and bat, imo they wasted a great idea with this movie with many stupid choices

I thought MOS was trash, Failed to make you relate to the human side of Superman. Didn't feel like a lost person on the world just felt outof place, He didnt stand for hope at all in MOS and they didn't give him "Superman" moments. The fact it was so gritty put me off aswell, I like the realistic tone to the character but they tried too hard about a alien who exists with these phenomenal powers. None of the movie made me feel.. Oh d--- he is lost in this world and he needs to find his place. Loads of coincidences happened and the fact he didn't carry the narrative at all was stupid. He has been the backseat in both of the movies. The DOJ ending is also stupid af because we needed atleast another Superman film with him actually being superman to make him stand for something other that just bore.

THE TRANSITIONING IS ALSO f---ing TERRIBLE. Like the 3 opening scenes are just put together without any real transitioning and pacing is everywhere. We go from a batman dream sequence to pacific ocean for Kryptonite to f---ing Africa in the span of 5 minutes. Every scene was too heavily edited and the only part of the movie that was free flowing was the final act.

I'd give it a 4 just because Batfleck and the final act was kinda boss even though it was forced af

Good because the BVS fight lasts 7 minutes max and the trinity vs doomsday is about 3 minutes of actual fighting.

Yea, I haven't saw the film yet.. I might go next weekend if I get off in time

I tend to get annoyed when films are clustered together, and it seems this one is.. I'm intrigued still though

You dont understand.. It is clustered together so sloppily.

The pacing is one of the worst i've ever seen, The dialogue is cringe at times and plot is also waaay too convoluted. Its nice for eyes especially in the final act but by then I was just so disappointed.

I hate when they do this though.. why not just release the complete version R-Rated/Unrated or not.. at the same time, just at different parts of the day/night.
