Apr 8, 2016 I would give my opinion but I have no knowledge of the consequences that could follow that decision.
Apr 8, 2016 You have to apply for a visa to work abroad. Its just stupid, They're saying that it will improve the country when in reality its just stupid
Apr 8, 2016 Pretty much same boat. I talk about politics with certain people from time to time but it's not generally something I talk about. I've forgotten the two sides to the argument for this but I know it's a complex issue (like everything in politics really). @Flacko What will you vote for and why?
Apr 8, 2016 Probaly to stay. I don't really see the benefits of leaving outweighing the potential consequences of leaving. I would like the UK to take a lesser role in the EU though.
Apr 8, 2016 Hope not, it would make it hard for UK citizens to travel anywhere, and would make it hard for people from EU to go to UK. None of my business tho
May 28, 2016 It won't make it hard per se - but it would mean filling out Visa applications for most travel outside of the country. Similar to when we travel to non-EU countries now. More of an inconvenience than a hardship. I'm pretty much with you both on this. I've spoken with people from all different walks of like regarding this, and the general opinion is that we are not being given enough information at face value on the pros and cons of staying or leaving. At the moment, I'm swaying with the "better the Devil you know" attitude and thinking of staying in.
May 28, 2016 You should not, Europe needs to be united. But it's good that you try, fa----s in Brussels need to wake up ffs. 50's EU>modern bs. EU has to be nothing more and nothing less than an economics pact, with trading, travelling etc made easy for all countries, for the glory of economic growth
May 28, 2016 Think this should be moved to "Life" section as it has a political nature. @Koolo @Flacko
May 28, 2016 I'm voting to stay, I like the freedom and choice of being able to travel, work and live all over Europe and I've met so many foreign people this year who probably wouldn't be here if we weren't in the EU. You shouldn't be able to come here and not work, get a house and get benefits, I agree with that obviously but its only gonna get worse if we leave EU, the amount of people living here illegally would be huge and it'll have huge ramifications for businesses as well as UK citizens living abroad
May 29, 2016 Do you necessarily have to leave Schengen too tho? Several non EU countries are part of Schengen so you do not need visas to travel there eg Norway, Switzerland...
May 29, 2016 I'm a European studies student so any of you who have doubts, trust me, you will be better off in the UE. Seriously tho, Brexit could lead to so many unpredictable consequences that I sweat even when I think about this. Brexit and the President Trump on the horizon.
Jun 1, 2016 I admittedly haven't done a lot of research into either side of this debate, but can anyone in here tell me what actually happens if we vote to leave? I see a lot of people going on like "We need to get out! The EU ruined this great country, we don't need those f---s!", but none of them can really give me a straight answer when I ask what the plan is when we get out. We leave, burn all of these bridges, and...? Seems to me like we'll just be all on our own and hated by other countries.
