The pic with mike was confirmed to be for the Ransom session and Dj Dahi is always seen working with Kendrick, yet the only time kendrick kept a Dahi produced song was 4 years ago. Not to mention that Dahi said their last record had a tribal direction. It's no different that when it was announced Kendrick was working with Dj Mustard on a lot of songs, Dr Dre, Dj Quik and Mike Will Made it for tpab. Soundwave also said Kendrick loves to take a beat that bangs just to make it very laidback.

Apr 13, 2016 Good example. bangers are cool though and kdot knows its extremely accessible even for those not appreciating music for what it is, he knows random people who don't care about music will definitely bump that but like it was said, I hope kendrick doesn't go for that sound, he has perfected his lane. Of course, we know his next album will have a few of them bangers, but let's hope its in small doses.
Apr 13, 2016 RT Kendrick has a lot of artistic integrity though, I don't see him taking the safe and easy road. And with all the praise he got from tpab, I expect him to keep making the music he really wants to make, specially with all the artists he has in his camp.
