As far as I've heard Nerlens is the leading candidate to be traded which I'm happy with. Not happy that it's with the Celtics but I want Dunn

Philly are now my 2nd team after Orlando. #TrustTheProcess
Same tbh. Orlando has a lotto pick but I have no idea who we're taking.

Now I just need you to jump on the Chelsea and Port wagon and we brothers for real. :embiid:

I liked Nerlens Noel. He will become an elite defender. If he goes, at least we will still have Grant to make those sexy blocks.

Oi @Jakey remember when we were wondering who Ben Simmons goes for in the AFL?

    Well, he's a Dees supporter.

I hope the C's keep the 3rd pick unless they can somehow manage a trade for Jimmy Butler or DeMarcus Cousins (neither I see happening).

Please don't f---ing trade it to the 76ers. I keep hearing this, and I don't like this idea.

Otherwise, give me Jaylen Brown, Dragan Bender or Buddy Hields.

One of those three, I'd be happy with, and re-sign Evan Turner.

None of those big name deals are happening, they were only really on the table if we landed in the top 2. I've heard Khris Middleton rumors that would include #3 and a player(if thats Crowder or Bradley I'd pass, although if we trade for him it would be for him to start in one of those spots). And if we're keeping the pick it makes sense to trade down and get more assets, lol don't even pretend you know anything about Bender. If the Suns want to move up 1 spot because they apparently like him, they can give us #13 to do it and we can use 13 and 16 to move up into the top 10.

There are about a billion scenarios that could play out for the Celtics tomorrow but they need to use a lot of those picks to move up further and use James Young as well, sick of that bum wasting a roster spot.

Their picks tomorrow are 3, 16, 23, 31, 35, 45, 51 & 58. I would say you add a max of 3 guys to the roster next year and maybe stash 2 guys max. No way you make all 8 picks.

With Simmons coming to the Sixers, we gonna have a player with his own shoe.

But seriously, Simmons has all the potential in the world and everyone is saying they'd rather Ingram :')

I don't think Boston will find anyone who will trade a star for that 3rd pick. This is a 2 player draft.

Which is why i thought it was laughable that ppl wanted me to be happy with the 3rd pick. I think they could still get the player they want, but don't think its worth decimating the rest of the team on top of the pick for guys who can't help their own team get over the top.

I'm hearing that the Philly deal is kinda a last resort for the C's and they are looking at a bunch of different guys. I think Hayward might be the most likely All star caliber guy they could get due to him being a FA next year. I would be unwilling to give up a lot for guys that have even 2 years remaining (like Cousins) because they probably wouldn't re-sign. But Hayward with the Stevens connection i would take the chance on.

Hayward would be a good start, but you never know. I think they should take it easy during this draft (as easy as 5-6 picks in one draft can be) and see how they do this year and hope for a good Nets pick next year or something lol. They're really in a tough spot with almost too many assets and picks.

@redsoxx Truthfully, does Jimmy really put you guys as legit East contenders? IMO Boston kinda overachieved last year. 48 games is nice, but I don't think they're as close as Ainge thinks. They'd prolly be better off drafting the best available guy and moving forward with him. Who knows, maybe Hield or Murray will be rookie of the year? On a rookie deal you guys might be better off in the long run.

Nets working hard to move Thad Young for a 1st round pick. Word is several teams in the West have been aggressive in getting him.

Hornets are offering their 22nd pick for any team willing to take Lamb or Hawes' salary.

Brooklyn should be all over that deal with the Hornets tbh.

Well I want Okafor or Noel because of their age and team control and giving up too much for Butler would kinda max out where we would be able to go. And i don't think win totals really means as much in terms of how far away a team is from being a Championship contender, because they aren't close. In all honesty the Celtics probably could have won 50-51 games if Crowder and Olynyk didn't get hurt at the end of the year. A lot of ppl seem to think they were the team we saw at the end of the regular season/Hawks series, but they are really much better (Its too bad because it devalued the s--- out of our players and now nobody wants to come to Boston). Since the 14-15 ASB they are something like 68-45, they've been winning consistently almost since they traded Jeff Green and Rondo. It probably hurt them in 14-15 because they could have had a Myles Turner or Justise Winslow on the roster.

Yeah kinda the same situation the Bulls are in now. Bad team but only the 14th pick because the FO didn't know whether to contend or not. Could've shipped Gasol out for improved odds on our Sac pick and been looking at 2 top 14 picks.

I can't wait for tonight. Most excited I've been for the draft in awhile. Hopefully we don't do something stupid and get rid of Butler.
