I've heard the C's want more then just Noel for #3 since they are gonna have to max Noel out next year. Maybe more players from either side(not that Philly has anyone that we want, that they would be willing to part with) and future picks get involved.

If we get the third pick, we'll have Simmons, Okafor, Kris Dunn, Dario Saric, and Joel Embiid. Could be a dangerous team in a few years.

We got Saric by taking Payton from ORL because we knew the Magic wanted him in the draft the other year, hopefully BOS doesn't do the same to us with Dunn.

Hearing that the Bulls are 'very intrigued' about trading Butler for the 2nd pick. @Kon @Briza

We know the Lakers wanna contend and wanted Jimmy when he was restricted.

I have a feeling if those goes down Bulls will do something stupid like draft Dunn over Ingram. But maybe they concentrated on Dunn because they didn't think they could get to #2? Ingram and Baldwin at #14 is a nice restart.

Lol f--- them if they draft Dunn at 2. He's the only reason the Sixers are trying to move up to #3

Will post soon but a lot of places on twitter. Some believe the Lakers would do it.

@Poohdini Don't think that's a legit source, but yea I would do the 2nd pick for Butler if we don't have to give up Russell

I'm against trading the 2nd pick for the most part, but I'd have to strongly consider that deal. My only 2 concerns would be I've heard Butler can cause locker room issues, now I don't know anything about him really so I have no idea if there's any truth to this. My 2nd concern would be if he wants to stay with the Lakers long term, if they can get him to commit and he's not a locker room cancer, then it's a good deal.

I also really want Ingram though so I don't know....I guess i'd be okay either way honestly.

Not just them, it's coming from everywhere. We don't know until after the Lakers pick since that's how draft night trades go down.
Well nobody really knows for sure about the locker room issue. The best way I can describe it is this.

Our team had a great culture with good leaders in Rose, Noah, Taj, and even Boozer. That time has obviously passed. To those guys, Jimmy was a late bloomer, it was their team. I think his comments about wanting to be vocal had the right intention, but by most accounts he's kinda switched up and extended a little too far and it rubbed some of the guys the wrong way, most notably Jo. JB admitted on Simmons' podcast that he probably went too far, but it was a learning experience.

That being said, Jimmy is a great guy and is a tireless worker who wants to win. I wouldn't be concerned at all about him causing problems in the locker room. I could be wrong, but I believe the "Jimmy is a cancer" thing is kinda overblown.

He's signed for 4 years and makes an incredibly reasonable 17 million next year. Rumors were he wanted to sign an offer sheet with LA last year, but since the Bulls offered the full max, nobody could even come close to that offer and he basically had to stay with us.

I think Jimmy loves it here, but we all know he likes Mark Wahlberg & the spotlight. Either be the leader of a young team in Chicago or LA, I don't think he cares either way.

Also if we do trade him, why the f--- dump Rose for scraps? God dammit.

    If I'm the Bulls I accept any combo of #2 & Russell/Clarkson/Randle.

Haven't seen any of the reports mention throwing those guys in, and highly doubt the Lakers would do that. Doubt you could even get Nance+ the 2nd pick honestly.

They gave up Rose fairly easy, they'd probably consider doing it straight up for the 2nd pick.

They will absolutely consider. You never know, maybe we give up Taj or Niko and throw in the 14th pick. Jimmy is valuable and this is the last year of Buss' playoff or I'm out promise. I believe the Lakers want Jimmy, bad.

I'm terrified that they're gonna draft Dunn if this happens, or Ingram doesn't pan out. We're not really going anywhere with just JB anyway so it's probably worth the risk.

Also Rose situation is completely different. Didn't get much back but that's because of the health risk involved. Butler, while missing 15-20 games each of the last 2 years, has basically no question marks.
