hi

i been thinking of ways to better define "Plus" and active posters...Plus is something you get when you get to 12k points...an icon, and an access to a SXN....but 12k points would take new members a year to get...so i thought of other ways that might encourage people to be active

Enter custom icons

every Monday, a cron will run that will calculate and assign members to a group if they meet the following criteria
Member posted 200 times in the last 7 days

if you meet the criteria, you will join a group called "Active posters" and you will remain in that group for 7 days...then the cron will run again, if you still meet the criteria, you will remain..if not, you will be kicked out of it

when you are in this group, you have access to basically shitload of icons you can use



so who fits the criteria for this week?



if you want it, post 200 times before next monday

also the app is coming within a week...lets get it poppin

btw custom alerts will go out when you promoted/demoted starting next monday

I would love an incentive where i had a daily requirement or monthly requirement where if i posted 5 or 10 times a day for 30 or 60 days, i would get a nice icon or something for consistently doing that everyday.

EDIT: If i miss a day, obviously i would have to start over.

I think you guys should look into having features or some incentive that focuses on longevity instead of activity all the time. I get it though, activity and forum traffic is what makes the site, not posters that have been around for years that don't contribute 200+ threads or posts a week.

Yeah, I just don't have time to post that much nor do I think I'd have that much to say lol. 200 posts a week is like 28 posts a day. I average maybe like 10-15 posts a day, probably not even that lol. It's cool though, I dig it. Maybe during football season we can get it lmao.

This is dope! Won't really have much of an affect on me and my posting until mid-May, but I'll easily be getting 200 posts per week in the summer.

And thank f---ing god for the app lol been waiting for awhile! I'm sure the wait will be worth it tho.
