Apr 19, 2016 I don't know, I think it's hard to compare Real Friends to the experimental stuff he did on Yeezus and TLOP. It's a traditional rap song that isn't groundbreaking/innovative like yeezus, agree. It has actual verses and that's where the focus is on, unlike yeezus/tlop that focusses more on the sound of it and him trying new stuff. I appreciate him doing a song like that and Saint Pablo every once in a while to remind us he can still do this too. It wouldn't fit on Yeezus, at all. And yeah on MBDTF it would be bottom half but that says more about how great that album is than Real Friends imo
