    Idk I've always wanted a full simp drake project and if he has a disc dedicated to it I'd be happy

    This album to me is him showcasing his talent. He can make all kinds of different music so I'm not expecting anything overly cohesive

    "Filler" is a debatable term. It makes it sound like the artist put it in there to make it longer
    But usually i just classify some tracks as "coulda be left off"

    But if the filler is good there Is NOTHING wrong with it imo

    Yah it seems gimmicky.
    Ok if it isn't critical acclaim, he's still clearly trying to make this his magnum opus to date right? And I get the inclination to go big and be ambitious but I don't like the idea of openly splitting his range into discs when rap as a whole is becoming more and more of a mix of everything.

    Idk it's a pointless discussion until we actually know what he's doing

    Yeah I think every kind of Drake fan will have something they love on here, double disc or not.

    I would say yes, but like you said we have no idea what he's doing. I'm gonna trust him and 40 until they give me a reason not to.

    Best case scenario (if it's a double disc): each disc is a painstakingly sequenced 10-track clinic in why Drake is great at a given disc's chosen style.

    But in the end...that's still 20 total tracks. Hard to imagine drake won't have some duds in there. Even if there are just 3 per disc...that's a tight 14 track album we could've gotten instead

    But then you can look at it like he's giving us those extra 6 just because.

    Im kinda torn, I love the cohesion of NWTS but I'm not gonna be upset if every track isn't amazing. 20 songs is 20 songs.

    I know what u mean tho, you're looking at it like a fan. But I'm trying to look at it from a critics POV cuz I have to review it
