Apr 25, 2016 Lol maybe I wasn't clear in my first 808s related post/the OP but I'm taking about playing the entire album my bad @El Ares
Apr 25, 2016 I kno what ur sayin its not that complicated lol U took my post a bit too literally or sumn idk. But i guess ill elaborate since were having trouble reading today right? 808s has a pretty uniform sound throughout as does...say yeezus. Two of the singles on 808s are two of kanyes biggest career hits. None of yeezus singles even cracked top 10 hip hop rnb billboard. Is this 0 indication of the accessibility of the project in its entirety?
Apr 25, 2016 From kanyes mouth: yeezus wasn't supposed to have any singles And Kanye was in a different place commercially for 808s vs yeezus. I get what you're trying to get at w the single talk, but I still think 808s is the most laborious listen in kanyes discog. Not because it's bad, but because it's a left field sound (like yeezus) but with a pace that, for me, doesn't allow itself to be played daily Speaking about taking things literally, you're the one that took me incredulously questioning mow this far when me and him settled it within two posts rofl And along the way you and chad are the ones trying to rewrite history as if 808s isn't the most polarizing Kanye album outside of yeezus
Apr 25, 2016 Lol. The only issue with ur faggotry is that u love to think u have a greater grasp on music in general so even when u have some personal notion on something (as is obviously the case here) u want to pass it off as a universally agreed upon statement. U talked out ur a--- and got called out on it its cool. Just go back n listen to 808s a few times
Apr 25, 2016 Cool story. Educate me then, which Kanye album is less accessible and/or a harder front to back listen than 808s (excluding yeezus because I already accounted for that)
Apr 25, 2016 Tlop, graduation...Other than mbdtf 808s is easily his most cohesive project with the most accessibility. That's a winning combo for a smooth front to back listen.
Apr 25, 2016 U made it pretty apparent since the beginning of this that you never really sat with 808s for some reason or another. So when you say nobody can say so and so about this project ur not as familiar with as u r with the rest of his discog that prompts me to call u a fa----. That amd the fact that ur just a fa---- in general.
Apr 25, 2016 I'd argue College Dropout is probably the one with that title. I always had a clear narrative of what Ye is presenting (including the skits of course) along with a uniformed sound although you can probably say the same for all of his work. I do agree with MBDTF being his most cohesive considering the perfect track length and consistent themes.
Apr 25, 2016 That comment applies perfectly to 808s and cd both tbh. Cd was my favorite ye project for years and is easily my top 3 most played next to 808s and mbdtf.
Apr 25, 2016 Actually cd is probably my most played now that i think about it. I sat with that project for years.
Apr 25, 2016 The beauty of Kanye's work is that each album is a different experience but an experience nonetheless. Everything is clearly put under the microscope and the attention to every detail is perfect, he truly knows how to make an album from top to bottom. To answer OP: CD LR MBDTF 808s Graduation Yeezus TLOP I really treasure those first two albums, years later I can't imagine how many times I must have played MBDTF the winter of 2010 well actually I still play it religiously. 808s & Graduation probably have amassed a lot of plays but I don't frequent them as much. The last two are mostly because they are his latest works, I've grown to appreciate Yeezus more with time.
Apr 25, 2016 It wasn't bs lol it was kinda just a joke that you could've replied to with your last post in this exchange (about 808s being the most cohesive Kanye project along w MBDTF and yeezus) It's fun to call me a fa---- tho so I feel u I do that in the mirror every morning
Apr 25, 2016 Man yeezus clicked with me like no other Kanye album, even MBDTF. I was saying it was top 3 within a week and had to put up with like a year of people hating on me for that lmao It's just such a tightly wound album with relentless runs of pent up aggression, frustration and disillusionment leading to breathtaking moments of release So utterly different from MBDTF, which is so different from 808s. What a trio of albums man
Apr 25, 2016 K wont f--- wit u no more To answer op loosely cus i dont have the actual numbers Cd Mbdtf 808s Yeezus Lr Graduation Tlop
