Apr 26, 2016 this is very wrong. 1. @Narsh is the one making the blind assertions 2. anyone has "potential" - blackbird has potential 3. right, the mainstream hasn't clicked with him lol. anything else is moot. he will obviously still grow, but the reaction here is to #narshlogic 4. exactly. while im sure hhh's in boston like young thug, he isn't someone rich white girls here have embraced like they did wayne. it's too early, and there's rly ZERO evidence he's going to approach weezy's streak of pop success
Apr 26, 2016 Wayne was def bigger in the usa, but he wasn't as popular as drake in the rest of the world. I know it because I was like 16 when he was in his prime and I was already a big fan of the guy
Apr 26, 2016 what if...just what if...a double disc album from drake with a disc for rap and a disc for singing is...bad?
Apr 26, 2016 Yes but the argument being made is that with the exception of Drake, Thugger is most likely to reach that status based on current success. There's a major detatchment here because I can't imagine you're hanging out with teenagers and early-20s kids, which are going to be the fanbase that will determine who blows up on the coming decade. Nearly everyone I know my age f---s with Thug, anecdotal evidence from people old enough to be my parents isn't really relevant here, no offense. As far as no evidence, lol. How do you dismiss an Elton cosign, a Kanye cosign, an entire discography s worth of amazing songs, and all of this before he's even dropped an official debut album?
Apr 26, 2016 do you remember how hard they had to search for a hit like lollipop? @Mike Tyson its just what ive been told by other people, but werent all mixtapes prior to C3 searching for a hit?
