    which i agree the album didnt deserve to score that low, but p4k hates gambino so its w/e, i hated him before BTI too

    and essentially they aren't really a site that focuses on indie music as much, as in the last year or so there's been a significant increase in coverage of more mainstream stuff as they got acquired by conde nast

    Eh, I wouldn't go so far. The internal directives are to give things that are "good" scores in the 6.5-6.9 range. But in practice, sure, there's been an upward creep with scores.

    i think a 6.8 is a pan relative to artist really, as going from an 8.3 BNM to a 6.8 is a pretty big drop

    also accounting for the review itself too, which is a pretty accurate reading of the album
