May 3, 2016 Just to look at it from Eminem's perspective. Eminem fans hate and critisized the album heavily, music journalists hate and critisized the album heavily, the general public hate and critisized the album heavily. Because of the horrorcore subject matter, lack of emotion/substance, lack of relatable songs, lack of personal songs, the accent, the simple production Besides Beautiful and Crack A Bottle which sound nothing like the rest of the album. Beautiful was the only emotional song everyones fave song from the album, the most praised song on the album by those who hate it. And Crack A Bottle a club song reached number 1 on the chart From Eminem's perspective he must be thinking everyone loved The Slim Shady LP and The Marshall Mathers LP they sold diamond the success of these albums is unmatched by any other artists album in hip hop. These albums weren't emotional, deep, introspective albums they had violent subject matter, dark lyrics, hardcore lyrcs So he must have been confused. 50 Cent in an interview said Eminem was having the time of his life when he was recording Relapse those are 50's words
May 3, 2016 I guess the fans wanted something more personal and less violent from Em, considering he had been gone for a minute. I find it funny how the people who were shi--ing on Relapse were the ones who jumped on Tylers d-ck when he dropped b------ which had heavy horrocore influences. I'll always love Relapse. It's a very solid album. Doesn't deserve the low ratings it gets.
May 3, 2016 Eminem had bars the whole album and some of those have been lost because of accents Subject matter was fine.
May 3, 2016 I love some of Relapse -Insane - Same Song & Dance - Stay Wide Awake - Deja Vu - Beautiful ^^^^ Love those songs
May 3, 2016 I don't care about bars I listen to Eminem for his emotion, hooks, singing, melodies, catchyness
